Snow Day

About a foot and still falling. It started yesterday afternoon and Olive and I got to have a bit of fun before the sun went down. She loves that sled, and this was the first time she really got a good look at a snowstorm. She was completely fascinated by it. We stared out the window all afternoon, when we weren't outside.

This morning she was right back at the window, and since the house was at about eighty degrees from the wood stove, I figured why not open the window and let her get her hands wet. She ate and ate and ate. This video is just a brief glimpse and you can tell from her burp that she has been at it awhile.

  2. I saw this when you first posted on facebook. The snow is total magic. I am super jealous of your whole setup over there, Richard! Look at the joy! And Olive looks pretty happy, too! ;)

    1. This winter has been a bust for snow in general so it is nice to be able to get out and enjoy it when we can. That sled was the best $15 on craigslist we have ever spent!

  3. Aww, she is adorable! The snow looks refreshing. It has been several years since we have had snow here in South Texas. Looks like she had so much fun!
